🔹Oversee month-end closing processes for two companies, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
🔹Implement and enforce internal accounting control procedures to safeguard financial assets.
🔹Balance workload efficiently, especially during critical month-end closing periods.
🔹Ensure comprehensive coverage and substitution for all accounting tasks.
🔹Foster a positive team microclimate and promote team development initiatives for a team of two accountants.
🔹Standardize accounting processes according to industry best practices.
🔹Manage the audit process effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
🔹Participate in accounting improvement projects, including automation, data import tools, document management systems, and IFRS adoption.
🔹Opportunity to supervise accounting operations in Latvia and Estonia, overseeing local accountants and outsource companies.

🔹Minimum 3 years' experience as a chief accountant in a medium to large company.
🔹Proven track record in team management.
🔹Strong understanding of local accounting standards.
🔹Proficiency in English (B2 level or above).
🔹Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks, meeting tight deadlines.
🔹Familiarity with IFRS preferred.
🔹Experience with Navision/Business Central considered an advantage.
