Currently we are looking for AML Corporate Clients Onboarding Team Lead who would be responsible for leading a team of AML specialists to ensure the compliant onboarding of corporate clients. You will oversee the entire onboarding process, manage team workflows, and ensure adherence to AML regulations and best practices. Your role is crucial in mitigating risks associated with money laundering and terrorist financing activities while maintaining operational efficiency.
You should find it interesting to:
- Lead and mentor the Corporate Clients Onboarding team of 5 - 7 specialists.
- Conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) (collect documents, look for external information).
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of AML/CTF regulations, industry guidance, and customer due diligence (CDD).
- Evaluate and monitor the team’s workload and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Liaise with other teams and departments to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience.
- Participate in process improvements and innovations.
- Provide improvement suggestions for the management of the company.
- Support the Head of the Onboarding division with additional tasks and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in FinTech, finance, business, law, or other business management fields.
- +1 years of experience in leadership and team management.
- Knowledge of AML/CTF regulations.
- Good knowledge and understanding of AML laws and regulatory environment.
- Excellent ability to conduct research on the Internet.
- Attention to detail.
- CAMS or ICA is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Fluency in English (fluency in another European language is a plus).
