We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our team and play an important role in enabling organization to make data-driven decisions by helping to maintain, improve and consolidate data pipelines for our BI platform.

We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join our team and play an important role in enabling organization to make data-driven decisions by helping to maintain, improve and consolidate data pipelines for our BI platform.
What you’ll do at Omnisend:
- Design and develop product analytics solutions that will be used to help solve complex business challenges
- Participate in all aspects of the product analytics development lifecycle, including: requirements gathering, report development, QA testing, product deployment, and end-user support
- Implement the appropriate strategies, plans, tools and approaches to ensure the execution of reports and dashboards
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, data warehouse and ETL related issues
- Perform complex data warehouse architecture, population, support and maintenance
- Provide guidance on industry best-practices and help select strategic data platforms, tools, and processes
- Work with data analyst and business to translate functional requirements into technical design and deliver insightful and actionable dashboards and reports to business
We expect that you’ll bring:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Data Warehouse and Analytics (a must)
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms (a must)
- Knowledge of Data Platform architecture and data processing principles (a must)
- SQL experience, hands-on with analytics tools, report building, and ETL processes (a must)
- Strong relational and dimensional data modeling, database design, data quality and data validation
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required
- Understanding of software development lifecycle cycle, excellent technical writing skills required
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, e.g., Golang, Python, bash
- Experience with in CI/CD tools such as Github actions
- Experience working with orchestration tools Dagster / Airflow is a plus
- Knowledge of DBT, Superset is a plus
