Currently we are looking for GENERAL LEDGER (GL) ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting activities
Perform goods receipt/invoice receipt control
Create master data (WBS elements, IO orders)
Prepare foreign currency (buy/sell) calculations
Perform asset & asset under-construction creation & maintenance
Perform Balance Sheet (BS) items clearing
Prepare Statistics (Intrastat & local GAAP)
Assists in conducting month-end closing and year-end closing procedures
Perform according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Support colleagues across Europe on the general accounting-related queries
Execute all other position-related tasks delegated by the Team Lead or Line Manager

Profile:

Ongoing or finished studies in finance, mathematics, statistics (or related discipline) is an advantage
Relevant and/or similar work experience within the accounting field is an advantage
Willingness to learn
Co-operation skills in cross-cultural organization
Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication (additional languages are an asset)
Based in Lithuania or willing to relocate
