Your responsibilities
- Analyze grid code requirements in respect of performance of ENERCON products
- Review and edit grid integration related contractual documents
- Participate in contract negotiations and project meetings regarding grid integration topics
- Technical risk assessment & mitigation prior to contract signature
- Respond to inquiries from customers, system operators or consultants regarding wind turbine and SCADA capabilities
- Organize and deliver internal and external grid integration workshops
- Represent ENERCON in grid code and wind industry working groups and technical committees
- Create requests to the Research and Development (WRD) department for modification of existing- or development of new products, based on market requirements
- Contribute to product development input by Sales - Grid Integration
- Represent ENERCON at fairs, conferences, and workshops
- Work closely with the team of experts like you, internationally spread in all ENERCON markets
Your qualifications
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- Physical understanding of how power systems work, committed to make them renewable
- Experience in the industry, experience in power systems or wind-industry is an advantage
- Ability to work with customers and power system operators, mainly with explanation, communication, power points and contracts. No electrical simulation or calculations skills are needed, but experience in these is an advantage
- Strong skills in reading&writing complex texts (contracts, grid codes)
- Fluent English, highly appreciated any Baltic language and/or Swedish
- Open to spend a training time of few month in Germany
- Able to work and set priorities independently
- Willing to travel (the GI team is distributed worldwide)
- Has good communication skills and is internationally oriented, as we are a worldwide team and you will have to work with multiple cultures
