As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Legal colleagues with various process-related tasks.
As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Legal colleagues with various process-related tasks.
Your responsibilities:
- Helping senior lawyers provide legal guidance
- Creating legal documents for every step of a company's life, following the law and meeting agreed deadlines
- Conduct research on case law and relevant legislation
- Working closely with business partners, clients, and colleagues to collect the information or documents needed to complete tasks
- Assisting with various legal topics such as labor law, partnerships, international ventures, and corporate finance
- Building and maintaining relationships of trust by communicating and negotiating with external parties such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities
- Providing clarification on legal language and specifications to colleagues throughout the organization
- Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Degree in Law or the last year student
- Excellent fluency in written and oral English
- Strong judgment and the ability to analyze situations and information effectively
- Personal traits: exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, prioritization and time-management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
