Project Finance / M&A Analyst

Green Genius is an international developer of renewable energy projects, operating across eight European markets. Our key mission is to support energy transition towards a fossil fuel-free future by developing, building and managing Solar PV, Wind, Biogas/Biomethane, Storage and Hydrogen assets. To this day, Green Genius has successfully implemented more than 500 MW of renewable energy projects, and has a project pipeline exceeding 2.5 GW.

Green Genius is seeking a talented and motivated Project Finance / M&A Analyst to join our Financing team. The Project Finance / M&A Analyst will play an important role in supporting our Project Finance and M&A teams in the preparation of financial models, conducting financial analysis, and contributing to financing and M&A transactions. As Project Finance / M&A Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

• Financial Modelling: Developing and maintaining complex financial models for renewable energy projects.
  
• Transaction Support: Assisting in financing and M&A transactions by preparing financial documentation, supporting negotiations and (post-)closing / utilization processes.
  
• Due Diligence: Contribute to due diligence processes by gathering, analyzing and presenting project-related information to our financial partners and investors.
  
• Marketing Processes: Support the marketing of renewable energy projects by providing financial data and analysis for presentations, proposals and investor / lender communications.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial analysis into overall project and business strategies.

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Management (candidates with a different background will also be considered).
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  
• Experience in all or one of the following fields:
  

Financing structing.
M&A transactions and / or advisory.
Asset management (real estate, renewable energy, credit / loan funds or similar).
Banking.

• Familiarity with renewable energy projects will be considered as an advantage.
  
• Excellent command of English.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

From 2500 €/mon. gross
Monthly salary: From €2500 gross + variable part, which depends on personal results.
