Functions:

  • Daily Operations Maintenance and Supervision: oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable processing, fixed asset and financial record maintenance. Provide guidance and supervision to accounting staff to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Payroll Accounting: responsible for accurate processing payroll transactions, including calculations of wages, tax deductions, travel reports. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and timely disbursement of employee salaries.
  • Closing: collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
  • Internal and External reporting: compile and analyze financial data to prepare statistical reports and tax filings (including but not limited to VAT), ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, including timely submission of tax returns and reports. Assist in audit processes, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
  • Accounting related projects and other tasks: participate in various IT and other projects focused on digitalization of accounting processes. Contribute to developing and maintaining internal controls, implementing effective accounting systems and policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or in similar role , with a focus on payroll accounting, tax reporting, and daily operations management.
  • Advanced skills in systems/tools such as Vikarina, Navision BC, TVS (advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to details, responsibility, effective time management.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
