Job description
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain advanced applications using React and React Native.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in the mobile app space.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in React and React Native.
- Experience with state management libraries (such as Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git).
- An innovative mindset and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in financial applications
- Fluent English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and a keen eye for good design.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Performance tuning experience for both web and mobile apps.
- Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to tackling challenges.
- Experience in Fintech / E-Money or Payments
