Our client – NKT connects a greener world with high-quality power cable technology and takes centre stage as the world moves towards green energy. NKT designs, manufactures and installs low, medium and high voltage power cable solutions enabling sustainable energy transmission. Now they are looking for Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead, lead who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing global team.
POSITION GOALS
- Provide back-end (Java) development, write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers with growth potential in our IT hub, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture
- Develop and maintain back-end services using commercetools, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Collaborate with your front-end developer(s) to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic
- Implement and integrate commercetools APIs to enable smooth communication between front-end and back-end systems
- Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration of the entire team with NKT stakeholders, especially IT experts in other locations

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science or relevant field
- 5+ years of work experience in digital commerce tools and commercetools
- 2+ years of experience in leadership / mentoring
- DevOps / Scrum / Kanban knowledge, Agile Mindset
- Ability to work independently and be a good team player at the same time
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
