Job description

Is AML not just three letters to you? Do you like to discuss AML issues? Are you a proactive and responsible person? If this is about you, we invite you to join the Anti-Money Laundering Prevention team (Second Line of Defense) at Citadele Banka in Lithuania to work mainly with Leasing product and also perform other Bank’s tasks.

We implement and improve financial crime prevention processes, such as Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), transaction monitoring, transaction investigation, improvement of transaction monitoring scenarios, KYC, quality control of functions performed by the First Line of Defense, etc. Are you ready to join and grow with us?

GET READY TO:

  • Provide AML approvals for specific Leasing contracts and customers onboarding
  • Analyze and monitor transactions to identify suspicious activities and potential money laundering risks (both in Leasing and the Bank)
  • Perform investigations escalated from the first line of defense
  • Consult colleagues on financial crime prevention issues
  • Perform other AML duties in Bank’s Second Line of Defense
  • Provide proposals how to improve and implement the processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal policies
  • Stay updated on the latest AML laws, regulations, and industry best practices

YOUR PROFILE:

  • 2 years of work experience in a bank or other financial institution in the field of financial crime prevention
  • High ethical standards, integrity, analytical thinking, proactivity, perseverance, conscientiousness
  • Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills (both written and verbal)
  • University degree
  • Ability to achieve the required result
  • ACAMS, ICA or other similar certifications and an interest in financial crime prevention would be an advantage
