Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer

TAVIL is a Spanish industrial company that designs and manufactures end‑of‑line packaging and intralogistics automation solutions. It is known for building automated systems that operate at the end of production lines - where products are packed, grouped, and prepared for shipment - and for integrating those systems into the wider factory and warehouse flow.

In practical terms, TAVIL delivers equipment and complete turnkey projects that can include automated case packing and handling, palletizing and depalletizing solutions (often robot-based), conveyor and material flow systems, and the controls and software needed to connect everything smoothly.

TAVIL works with manufacturers in sectors where efficiency, quality, and reliability are critical, such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, and FMCG. The main value for clients is improving throughput and consistency, increasing safety and ergonomics, reducing damage and operating costs, and enabling better production control through integrated automation.

To support our client, TAVIL, we are looking for an Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer to join their growing team in Lithuania and support long-term industrial automation projects.

• Education in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
  
• 2-3 years of PLC programming experience (ideal 3-5 years).
  
• Strong motivation to learn and grow in industrial automation and commissioning work.
  
• Willingness to travel frequently (Lithuania and abroad), especially during onboarding and start-up phases.
  
• Driving license and own car (reimbursement according to Lithuanian regulations and company policy; details shared during interviews).
  
• Excellent English communication skills (Spanish is a plus).
  

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with robotics and/or servo motors.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a small team environment.

• Salary from 2800 to 3167 EUR gross per month, depending on the candidate's experience and overall fit for the role.
  
• Hybrid work mode: The role may be performed remotely (work from home) and on-site at Mantinga Production.
  
• Structured onboarding and training in Spain, including visits to factories and real project implementations.
  
• Travel support during training: flights, accommodation and local transport covered in Spain.
