Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within food service or catering operations
- Experience with a military customer is beneficial
- Knowledge of the applicable international standards concerning food according to the Global Food Statement of Work
- Valid training and qualifications in HACCP principles
- Very good understanding of ISO 22000
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- The candidate must have a passport from an EU country and be eligible to work in Latvia
- Clean police record
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the FEPS Quality Assurance system on site in line with NATO / NSPA requirements.
- Ensure full application of HACCP principles, ISO 22000 standards, and FEPS SOPs.
- Oversee temperature control logs, food sampling, cleaning, pest control, audits, NCRs, and training activities.
- Maintain inspection readiness and QA documentation within the DMS.
- Coordinate with the Corporate QA director to schedule audits, inspections, and evaluations.
- Analyze audit findings and collaborate with the catering manager to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular QA status reports to senior management outlining quality performance, audit results, and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct daily QA briefings and communicate hygiene risks and corrective actions immediately.
