Swisslog are currently seeking a Control Commissioning Engineer based out of Lithuania to support our customer installations in the European region. This will involve the supervision of the final stages of the installation and commissioning of our core products and high-level support for the field and operations teams. As well as experienced individuals we would also consider recent engineering graduates who we can train to perform the role.

• As a Control Commissioning Engineer, you will harness your skills in PLC technology to install advanced robotic systems, revolutionizing supply chains across the globe. Step into the dynamic world of intralogistics as a Control Commissioning Engineer. You will be at the forefront of installing automated technology, ensuring seamless integration and commissioning at customer sites internationally.
  
• Together with your colleagues from the development department, you are responsible for program optimization for customer systems.
  
• Independently carry out I/O tests on fully installed systems.
  
• Support the interfaces of the upstream and downstream subsystems during the entire ramp-up phase.
  
• Coordination between suppliers and colleagues from our product development falls within your area of responsibility.
  
• Provide customer support in 2nd and 3rd line, resolving technical issues.

• You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician in automation technology or a comparable qualification.
  
• You have at least two years of professional experience in the commissioning of intralogistics systems, alternatively in a special machine construction company or are a recent engineering graduate who we can train to perform the role.
  
• In addition, you have basic knowledge of PLC programming.
  
• If you already have experience with bus systems such as EtherCAT, Profinet and ASi, this is an advantage.
  
• You also have hardware experience with frequency converters, drives, sensors and control cabinets is desirable.
  
• You are able to keep your focus even during stressful and busy periods.
  
• You thrive in an international environment and must be willing to travel frequently to customer sites in Europe.
  
• You can speak English to a good standard.
  
• Your ability to remain focused through challenges and your passion for digital technology and automation position you as the ideal candidate.
  
• Full driving license to support the travel requirements of the role.
