Pepco is looking for a Head of Finance (Baltics) to lead the finance agenda across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and partner with the Country Manager and leadership team. The role focuses on driving performance, ensuring strong governance and compliance, and working effectively with the Shared Service Center (SSC) to deliver a consistent performance cadence across the markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the finance agenda across the Baltics, partnering with the Country Manager and leadership team to deliver P&L, balance sheet and cash targets and improve overall business performance.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and planning, providing clear performance reviews, variance commentary and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure strong control and visibility over sales, margin, OPEX, EBITDA and working capital, and turn insights into aligned action plans with key stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely management and statutory reporting, as well as full compliance with local tax, legal and regulatory requirements, coordinate audits and act as the key local finance contact for auditors and authorities.
- Partner with Treasury and SSC to support cash-flow management, working-capital performance, payment discipline and escalation of liquidity/cash risks when needed.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and consistent application of finance policies; ensure timely remediation of audit findings and control gaps.
- Lead, coach and develop the local finance team and ensure efficient ways of working and high-quality service to the business in close cooperation with SSC and central functions.
Required experience and qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; ACCA/CIMA/CPA is an advantage.
- 8+ years of experience in finance in a commercial environment, including business partnering and performance management with proven experience in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Proven people leadership and team development experience.
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital, and a solid background in statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit requirements and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Retail and/or Big 4 background and multi-market/international exposure would be a strong advantage.
- Fluency in written and spoken Lithuanian and English.
