Head of Video Content (YouTube Focus)

Coffee Friend is an international omnichannel coffee retailer operating across 12 European markets, with a 15-year track record and 8 growing companies.

We’re looking for a Head of Video Content to lead and scale our video production efforts, with a strong focus on building a high-performing YouTube channel.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage a team of videographers and editors while shaping our video strategy—from content ideation to distribution and performance optimization.

Your mission: turn Coffee Friend into a go-to destination for coffee content on YouTube—from product reviews and comparisons to educational and entertaining formats that engage and convert.

Strategy & Growth

• Own and execute the YouTube content strategy, aligned with business and brand goals.
  
• Identify content opportunities based on audience insights, trends, and performance data.
  
• Develop scalable content formats (reviews, comparisons, guides, storytelling, etc.).
  
• Drive channel growth: subscribers, watch time, engagement, and conversions.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of videographers and video editors.
  
• Set clear goals, workflows, and quality standards for the video team.
  
• Foster a creative, high-performance culture with strong ownership.
  

Content Production

• Oversee the full video production lifecycle—from idea to published content.
  
• Ensure consistent brand voice, storytelling quality, and production standards.
  
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams for content alignment.
  

YouTube & Distribution

• Own YouTube publishing workflows: SEO, thumbnails, titles, retention optimization.
  
• Understand and leverage the YouTube algorithm to maximize reach and engagement.
  
• Adapt and distribute content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  

Performance & Optimization

• Track and analyze video performance (CTR, retention, watch time, conversions).
  
• Continuously optimize content based on data and experimentation.
  
• Implement A/B testing for thumbnails, formats, and hooks.
