Managing Director Lithuania

Our client is an international retail group and the long-term operator of a globally recognized consumer brand in Lithuania, combining high operational standards with a dynamic, customer-focused environment. The company is now looking for an experienced and results-driven Managing Director to lead the business in Lithuania.

The role carries overall responsibility for the development, management, operations, and profitability of the business. The Managing Director will provide strategic leadership, ensure alignment with the company’s objectives, and work closely with the Finance, Operations, Marketing, and HR teams to drive sustainable business growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and implement business strategies, identify expansion opportunities, and lead initiatives to improve performance and profitability.
• Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, revenue growth, budgeting, cost control, and compliance with financial policies.
• Sales & Marketing: Set sales objectives, oversee sales and marketing performance, and guide public relations efforts to strengthen market position and brand image.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient business operations, maintaining high quality and service standards, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• People Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing management team, oversee talent development, and foster a positive, collaborative work culture.
• Stakeholder Relations & Risk Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, represent the company, and oversee compliance and business risk management.
• Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor business performance against objectives and KPIs, driving improvements across key business functions.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive senior leadership experience with a proven track record in business management, strategy, and operational performance.
• Strong experience in retail, quick-service restaurants (QSR), hospitality, or other operationally intensive industries.
• Excellent financial and commercial acumen, including experience in financial planning, budgeting, and performance management.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into practical actions and measurable results.
• Decisive and proactive leadership style, with the ability to make timely decisions, adapt to change, and take accountability for results.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop management teams, identify talent, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Strong customer focus, business insight, and commitment to operational excellence.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of the Lithuanian market and business environment.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English.
