BetGames is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Mathematician to support the development of game mathematics across all gaming verticals. This role will work closely with Product, IT, Development, and Design teams to create mathematically sound and commercially viable game concepts that can be built, tested, optimized, and implemented into new product development initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Design and develop mathematical models for new and existing gaming products.
- Create RTP models, payout structures, volatility profiles, probability distributions, and balancing systems.
- Collaborate with Product and IT teams to transform product concepts into technically implementable mathematical frameworks.
- Support rapid prototyping, testing, and optimization of new gaming concepts.
- Conduct simulations and statistical analysis to validate game outcomes and performance.
- Produce mathematical specifications and documentation for development and QA teams.
- Research and develop innovative game mechanics and engagement models.
AI & Technology Competencies
- Leverage AI-assisted analytical tools to enhance game design, balancing, and modelling processes.
- Use machine learning and predictive analytics concepts to support player behaviour analysis and product optimization.
- Work with AI-enabled simulation and automation tools to improve testing efficiency and mathematical validation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities for AI integration within game mechanics and product innovation.
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and industry trends relevant to gaming and product development.
- Demonstrate strong digital literacy and adaptability in using modern AI-powered productivity and analytical tools.
We expect you have
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline.
- Strong understanding of probability theory, combinatorics, stochastic modelling, and statistical analysis.
- Experience developing mathematical models within gaming, betting, casino, or similar probability-driven industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience using Excel and scripting/programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile or cross-functional product development environments.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within iGaming, live gaming, casino, or sports betting industries.
- Knowledge of player engagement metrics, behavioural modelling, and game economy balancing.
- Familiarity with gaming compliance and regulatory standards.
- Experience using data visualization, simulation, or AI-assisted analytical platforms.
