SENIOR ACCOUNTANT WILL:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial accounting records in line with company policies and applicable standards;
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data;
- Prepare tax returns and statistical reports and submit them to the relevant authorities;
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and helps prepare required documentation to auditors during interim and annual audits;
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making;
- Support the Chief Accountant in daily accounting operations and process improvements;
- Oversee and control accounting records;
- Assist with training and supporting colleagues in accounting-related matters.
YOU ARE WELCOME TO APPLY IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- At least 3–5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a medium-sized or large company, including at least 3 years in the airline or aviation industry;
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles;
- Experience in tax reporting;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in MS Excel;
- Good written and spoken English skills;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage;
- Experience with accounting system Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
