Software Engineer (C++)

Our client – a software development and testing company specialized in medical solutions – is currently looking to strengthen its team with a Software Engineer (C++).

Your job would be based on implementing connectivity and security features of a next generation medical device.

Main responsibilities:

• Support software component design.
• Fulfill formal product and software requirements during design and implementation phases.
• Implement software components.
• Design and implement unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).
• Strong C/C++ development experience in embedded environments (e.g., QNX, Wind River Linux).
• Proficiency with the C++ Standard Library (STL) and Boost.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD build pipelines using CMake, Conan, Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to develop in compliance with coding standards and quality requirements; experience with static code analysis tools such as Black Duck, Axivion, and Fortify.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., REST, ZeroMQ, DDS).
• Basic knowledge of wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and/or UWB).
• Understanding of security fundamentals, including symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, X.509 certificates, and hashing.
• Self-organized and proactive; strong communication skills; able to work effectively in a remote setup.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
