Job description

What you will do:

Manage and develop relationships with new and existing spot market customers while securing ad-hoc freight opportunities.
Actively work with leading freight exchange platforms such as Timocom, Transporeon, Alpega, and other digital marketplaces to source and secure profitable shipments.
React quickly to market changes and identify new business opportunities.
Negotiate spot freight rates with customers and carriers to maximize profitability.
Work in a dynamic, high-energy environment where fast decision-making and commercial thinking are essential.
Balance customer expectations with operational efficiency and profitability.
Analyze shipment performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Contribute to process optimization and market development initiatives.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and capacity to adjust commercial strategies.
Meet revenue, shipment, and performance targets.
Collaborate closely with pricing, planning, and operations teams to deliver the best customer solutions.

What we expect from you:

Experience in sales, account management, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Previous experience working with freight exchange platforms such as Timocom, Transporeon, Alpega, or similar digital marketplaces is a strong advantage.
Good negotiation and communication skills with a commercial mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Comfortable working with data, CRM systems, and MS Office.
Fluent English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, data-driven decisions.
Competitive attitude with a strong motivation to achieve ambitious targets.
Understanding of the European road freight market and spot transportation is considered a significant advantage.

Base monthly salary: From 2330 to 2910 EUR (before tax). The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role.
