What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain PHP applications with a focus on stability and performance.
- Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and queries.
- Implement automated testing (unit and integration tests) to ensure system reliability.
- Prepare and maintain Docker configurations.
- Manage applications in Kubernetes and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and deployments.
- Resolve production incidents and ensure system uptime.
- Apply security best practices (input validation, SQL injection prevention, etc.).
- Write technical documentation, RFCs, and system design proposals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with PHP development (ideally 3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests).
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
How You’ll Work:
- Collaborate with a team including a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Engineering Manager, and other Developers, working in two-week sprint iterations.
- Align technical solutions with Solution Architects to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with system strategy.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers on deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure needs.
- Improve and maintain operations team systems.
- Challenges: large-scale data, high traffic, complex business logic.
