We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Operational Readiness & Business Improvement team of the Ignitis Renewables organization. In this role, you will establish and lead the Operational Readiness & Business Improvement function across multiple countries, ensuring new assets, systems, processes, and organizational structures are fully prepared for operations while driving business improvement, process excellence, digital readiness, and change management across the O&M organization. You will contribute to secure and green energy ecosystem creation by:
- Establishing, leading, and developing the Operational Readiness & Business Improvement function and supervising a team of project managers and subject-matter experts across multiple countries;
- Developing and executing the O&M Business Improvement Strategy, driving organizational maturity, process harmonization, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement across the organization;
- Defining, governing, and continuously improving the O&M Operational Readiness framework, including stage-gates, acceptance criteria, readiness reviews, governance standards, and structured handovers into operations;
- Coordinating deliverables across people, processes, systems, data, HSSE, documentation, permits, warranties, and contractual obligations to ensure operational readiness throughout the asset lifecycle;
- Defining and governing O&M operational and managerial processes, maintaining process architecture, process flows, procedures, and documentation standards across all operating countries;
- Identifying process inefficiencies, evaluating their operational and financial impact, and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives that enhance OPEX, EBITDA, reliability, compliance, and operational performance;
- Establishing and maintaining O&M maturity frameworks, defining maturity targets, and coordinating projects required to strengthen operational capabilities and governance;
- Leading digital readiness and adoption initiatives, including Asset Management Systems (AMS/CMMS), and future digital platforms, ensuring data quality, system governance, user readiness, and successful implementation;
- Driving organizational change management through communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and people readiness to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working;
- Providing governance, executive reporting, and multi-country coordination while ensuring alignment, adoption, and compliance with operational readiness, process management, business improvement, and change-management standards across the O&M organization.
Required for this position:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Energy, Business Management, or a related field. Project Management certification or MBA would be considered an advantage;
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in O&M, asset management, renewable energy, industrial, utility, or similar environments;
- Proven experience establishing new functions, building and leading teams, and managing professionals across multiple locations or countries;
- Strong experience leading operational readiness, business improvement, transformation, process optimization, or organizational change initiatives;
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs and aligning leadership teams around governance frameworks, operational standards, and common objectives;
- Strong understanding of stage-gate governance, operational readiness frameworks, process management, organizational maturity development, and cross-functional handover governance;
- Experience with O&M information systems, including AMS/CMMS platforms, master data management, system governance, UAT, migrations, and digital adoption initiatives. Experience with OMEGA 365 or similar platforms is an advantage;
- Good understanding of renewable energy operations, asset management principles, HSSE requirements, technical compliance standards, and governance frameworks such as ISO 55001;
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder management, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive measurable improvements;
- Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and functions in a complex operational environment.

Salary range for this position group is 4260 to 6380 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
