- Experience in transportation, familiarity with market dynamics, and a keen interest in analyzing market changes and trends.
What you will do:
- Respond to received requests for price calculation within the deadlines set in the tenders/inquiries.
- Perform tender/request calculations based on pricing strategy, service pricing rates, customer history, potential assessment, and prioritization based on timelines and customer importance.
- Contribute to the implementation of operating income and margin plans by evaluating freight balances and providing pricing that meets market and company needs.
- Contribute to price reviews and making suggestions for improvement based on the analysis of won/lost tenders, margin analysis, and targeted profitability of services.
- Participate in meetings with customers during price negotiations and represent the Pricing department.
- Monitor customers agreement execution, compensations and fuel floater rates.
- Provide regular analysis of won/lost opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay actively informed about market trends and the competitive environment.
- Present key findings and recommendations to the management team on a regular basis.
