Technical Lead

What you’ll do:

Lead the technical direction of our Digital Services & Channels platform across engineering team. You’ll help team simplify complex systems, set strong engineering standards, and make AI a natural part of how we build software. We’re looking for someone with deep experience in complex backend systems, strong engineering judgement, and a track record of leading technical decisions across teams.

• Lead key technical decisions and help teams make pragmatic trade-offs.
• Set and embed engineering standards across teams: code quality, testing, security, observability and developer experience.
• Drive AI adoption in software development. Introduce AI-assisted coding, testing and code review, measure the impact, and scale what works.
• Explore where LLMs and AI agents can improve our products and customer journeys.
• Modernize existing systems step by step, reducing technical debt without big rewrites.
• Work with Product and Engineering Managers to balance technical sustainability with business priorities, and challenge priorities when needed.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers across teams.

What will help you thrive

• You’re an experienced engineer who enjoys shaping technical direction and raising the bar across teams.
• Strong background in designing and building backend systems.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience designing or evolving complex, large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code), and a clear view on how AI changes the way teams build software.
• The ability to explain complex topics simply and influence both engineers and business stakeholders.
• A pragmatic mindset that favors simple, maintainable solutions over complexity.

Monthly salary range for this position - 5400-6900 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
